Abstract. The article offers a general overview of the development trend of the localization processes, as well as the automotive components used in the production of vehicles, trucks and commercial vehicles at the production site of “SaryarkaAvtoProm” LLP, which is part of the “Allur Group”. In Kazakhstan, as in any country, the automotive industry is developing in parallel with how the market and the economy of the country as a whole are growing. Initially, this can only be done by importing vehicles into the domestic market. As the market grows, SKD assembly plants are established, followed by full-scale production, including body welding and dyeing. The transition to the next stage, as a rule, occurs when the market consumes more than 100,000 locally produced vehicles per year. Under such conditions, the production of automotive components becomes profitable. At this stage, the sector is developing the potential for export development. Kazakhstan’s automotive industry is currently striving for this stage of development.
